Emily De-Christmasizes

Hey, y'all! So, Christmas departed quite a while ago, but the Spice girls haven't taken their tree down yet! So, while the others where out seeing a movie at the theater, Emily decided to it take down.
------------------------------------

"Today is the day!" Emily decided. "You are coming down, Mr. Tree."

"I should probably start with the garland..." Emily muttered.

Emily pulled off the elegant pearl garland strand by strand, until she had acquired an extremely long rope of it.

"I really should wind this up so it doesn't get tangled," Emily told herself. "It will also be easier to store that way!"

After she had wound up the pearl garland, she grabbed the Christmas box to store it in.

"Next are the bows!" she said.

She untied each and every bow and placed them all neatly into the Christmas box. She finished by taking off the big red bow on the top of the tree.

"Into the box!" Emily dropped the ribbon into the box.

"That's the last of it!" Emily said as she grabbed the top of the box and closed it.

"Ginger!" Emily called. "I could use some help putting the tree into the box!"
"Oh, sure! We need to wrap it up in bubble wrap first though," I told her.

I was glad Emily had asked me to help her out, since it would have been extremely difficult for her to move the tree, or wrap it up in the protective padding. It was difficult even for me, and I'm much taller than she is!

"Into the box!" I said, sliding the tree into its snug casing.

"Oh! We can't forget the decorations!" Emily exclaimed, carefully nestling the Christmas box into the tree's box. Then she flipped all of the box flaps into place.

"See you next year, Mr. Tree!" Emily said happily.

I will admit, it is nice to have the tree off of my desk. When it was gone, I noticed that that side of the room looked a lot more spacious!
I hope you have a great day!

XOXO Ginger Spice

P.S. Have you taken all of your Christmas decorations down yet?
